Today I did Peer Mediation with Amber because I usually do it on second half Friday but the countdown to no badges ends on Wednesday. when it was time to do our duty we went to the the class room to get our jackets but the fist half peer mediators did do there duty so we did the duty without our jackets . We went around asking if every one was OK and everyone seemed fine.I used the care value excellence by continuing to do my duty even thought I didn't have my Peer Mediation jacket.

This year I completed the 40 book challenge . I finished it in two terms with 20 books per term . I enjoyed doing this challenge because I don't usually read a lot of genres . In this challenge I used the care value exellence.

Today I did peer mediation. When it was second half I went to out hub to check if there were vest there .But thus week there were no vests so i went around to look for a teacher but there still wasn't any so I eventually found one but he did not have any keys on him so i found another teacher and she had her keys so I did peer mediation for the last 10 mins of lunch. I used the care value excellence by trying my best to do my duty.

last last week i couldn't do peer mediation cause the people who did first half didn't do it and my peer mediation partners weren't there so i couldn't do any thing . i used the care value active thinking by looking for a teacher but unfortunately I didn't .

today I went to garden club. at garden club we planted lots of plants by getting a bucket and putting compost in the bucket and putting the plant in the bucket . I showed the care value community by helping.

This year i participated in the 2017 music festival . i played the violin and was in the 6th desk for first violin .we had lots of rehearsals for the 3 day concert and also saw some of my friends from my old school. In this  challenge i showed the care value community by joining in the orchestra

last Thursday the year sevens went to tech .
the year 8s went to wellington so it was only  the year 7s at school. my pen tad in science .in science we dissected mussels. the showed the care value Exellence by doing as the teacher says

write an effective argument for our chosen political party

WALT: Write an effective argument for our chosen political party.

Who are you going to vote for ? I'm going to vote for the Green party and here are three main policies that have helped me decide who to vote for . The first policy I am going to vote for is in the area of environment.

Firstly the Green party is going to aim for 100% renewable electricity by 2030 .Setting a goal of 100 per cent renewable energy by 2030 should allow New Zealand to make the most of the opportunities of new technology for example using electricity without worrying about how much energy you're going to waste. I believe this will be a good policy because the world is going to eventually run out of ways to make electricity.I addition it is not healthy for the earth if we keep on digging for coal and use up all the land for wind turbines.The electricity is very important but our rivers and lakes are also very important too.

Secondly in the area of environment the Green party is going to aim for all lakes and rivers to be swimmable.Right now the dairy farms and factories are polluting lakes and rivers these include cows releasing gas etc.  so the Green party is going to go through a series of steps to make them swimmable .I think that this policy is very important because there's lots of pollution going on and it would be nice to have clean rivers.another reason is that this would also encourage children to play in the water and not go inside and watch tv .Our environment is just as important as the education of children.

Finally the Green party is going to make it safer for children to walk or cycle to school.The Green party thinks that too many children travel to school by car. So they are going to plan to do something about that for instance they are going to reduce the speed limit around schools.I agree that this is a good policy because for example if there are many cars every morning there will be a lot of pollution.I also think that it could affect the health of children because if they walk rather than ride the car the children would be a lot healthier. There are policies that i agree with but there are also policies i disagree with.

The top party thinks that legalizing cannabis is a good idea this policy includes the sale and use of cannabis.The Opportunities Party believes that current cannabis laws cause more harm than smoking cannabis does.The use of cannabis is very bad and can cause harm to our health. Another reason i oppose to this policy is  The selling of this dangerous drug is also bad because people are earning lots money by selling it . In the end I have decided to vote for green.

So now i have fully decided on which party i want to vote for i leads to voting for Green. The green party specialises in environment which is my biggest worry for example going what's best for the environment  . I have explained why i will vote for this party. Have you now decided?

My next steps are: to play with the sentences and use conjunctions effectively.

Koru Games Reflection

In the Koru Games the sport I competed in was touch

Our team won 9th place

I found the experience to be educational and fun because many of my friends were in my group

In terms of working with Individuals and Groups; my solo level is relational because i can positively respond to the need of others

For Teamwork; my solo level is unistructual because i am not a good touch player and sometimes i can not understand what there are saying

peer mediation

last Friday i did peer mediation .I had to do it by myself because maxim went to te hapua and shivana didn't turn up. there weren't many problems but the one that there were i solved and recorded it down on the i pad.
